Anesis Center for Therapy: Beacon of Hope and Healing

Anesis Therapy was founded in 2016 by Myra McNair, a dedicated advocate for equitable and inclusive mental health care. It was born out of a vision to challenge the status quo and create a space where all individuals feel seen, heard, and valued. With a background in psychology and a passion for social justice, Myra's personal and professional experiences have shaped the ethos of Anesis Therapy, driving the mission to provide culturally sensitive and visionary mental health care to the community.

Drawing upon her own journey and the collective experiences of the Anesis team, Myra has been instrumental in shaping the character and values of the organization. Under her leadership, Anesis Therapy has become a beacon of hope and healing for individuals from diverse backgrounds, offering a range of therapeutic services and educational opportunities to support mental wellness and resilience.

As we prepare to host our first multicultural mental health conference in Wisconsin, Myra's vision and leadership continue to guide us forward. This groundbreaking event will not only showcase the importance of embracing multicultural perspectives in mental health care but also serve as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and collective healing. With a lineup of esteemed speakers, engaging workshops, and interactive sessions, the conference promises to be a transformative experience for all who attend.

We invite you to join us in this momentous occasion as we come together to celebrate diversity, promote inclusivity, and chart a course toward a more equitable and compassionate future for mental health care. Together we can create positive change, one conversation, and one connection at a time.
